Camp day 4 (last day)

Hellox viewers! Today I shall proceed with Camp Day 4!
Day 4) Oh no, woke up at 1.45am!! Sleep nothing! Got to wake up early for route march!!! Oh my my my goodness. I washed up and went down to the medic. HaHa. Guess wad! I had 3 bloody blisters!!! Oh no. They are damn painful! Well, Gerald helped me with the spraying medicine and i used 4 plasters!!! HaHa. Went over to the cookhouse. Ooo.. many people were there. They are prepared, but Im scared. HaHa. I shocked Ben with another can of RED BULL~ We shared it and I felt as if I've got wings~~~ HeHez. Every trainer had a light stick with them. COol~ I still hav mine with me. =)
Chee Kian, Kee Leong, Chui Yee and Kessler asked if im alright. HaHa. Look at me at that time. I was damn awake and alert and ready to go!~ I counted the strength of my team and started leaving EVSS - 2.30am. Cool~ It was still so early. I ran with my team all the way. Ben and Chong Boon were the marshalls. They ran a lot! Rain was pelting mercilessly on the ground. It was pouring heavily at one point of time. Our destination was Changi Villiage. Due to the rain, we decided to make a U-turn back to school. I was moving my legs all the way. One officer told us that we must not show our tiredness to the trainees. They need us. This sentence spurred me on. I went further and further with my team. Trying to check if they're alright. Anyway, the way we walked were v.fast.
Lastly, reach EVSS at 6.30am/5.30am. Couldnt remember clearly. =) Anyway, I was not really exhausted. Went up the hall and did somemore stretching. Cool~ It was really fun!!! I was so proud of myself for completing the race. Its a race between myself. I was still so energized after the march. I've got the power! HaHa. Oh no, its the wings~ heez. Well, I was great? Wasnt I? Afterall, I'm red tag man! AHAHhaha..
In the afternoon, packed our stuffs and was ready to go home~ Ben was extremely exhausted. Couldnt blame him. He did a lot during the march. Anyway, I was pretty stunned by his sudden black face. Lucky he showed me during the last day of camp. HaHa. Cool~ Well, took pictures of the whole camp, trainers and trainees. But didnt take any picture with my team. Hmmm, pretty sad that there's no pic for memory. But we can still take them during the POP right. haha! Furthermore, Ben was damn tired and hack care all the photograph stuffs.
Alright. It was a GREAT CAMP! I dont know why. But I simply love going to camps! Esp. as trainers!! HaHa. U'll learn a lot!! I miss this camp as much as i miss JNCO last yr. =) Luckily, it wasnt a nightmare. It turned out v.well. I love it! Thanks to all that hav taught me during the camp! =) *Muacks!

Day 3

Lovely people, I shall carry on with my SNCO Camp experience. HaHa.
Day 3) Woke up at 5.15am once again. Hmm, this time slept for 3hours. Cool!~ Longer, however, still not enough. I was scare on that day. Because, there will be a DownTown Hunt!! Well, elaborate more later. First of all, went for morning P.T. I didnt really join in the exercise. I was shacked, lazy and mad! As I have mentioned earlier on. I waited and looked for Ben the night before!!! But he went to sleep!!! So I stood at one side with Angela and watched people doing it.
After that is Breakfast! I could feel as if blood rushing through my veins. Well, partly is because of the lack of sleep and the other, Ben. I didnt have the mood to join my team n him for breakfast. So i went over to the trainers' table and shared an egg with Vanessa. I cracked the egg and left the shells on the table. Later on, Zhiwei called me over. Shit! He scolded me sacastically about the egg shells. So Van and me went to throw it away. Haha, damn sacastic too. And Zhiwei said I'm bad!!! Because I left my team people. And I should learn from Angela. HaHa. Hey, we've got different team and different group advisor loh, so different case.
After breakfast, its time for the DownTown Hunt!! My team was supposed to go to 4 different stations at different places. 1) Bedok Ntuc 2)Loyang Giant 3)Simei 4)Sun Plaza Park then back to EVSS. Wah, we set off after the 'lose & found' of the 408 key. HaHa! Alright, I was scare man! Well, I have the endurance in myself to complete the whole event. However, I'm lacking some confidence. I'm scared that I will faint!!! HaHa! That's my phobia!! or maybe, damn exhausted!! Shit! Along the way, I was so happily making Ben jealous of my 3 cans of RED BULL in my bag. HaHa. Anyway, I still shared with him. See! I've an angel heart. So nice of me. In the end, I was not really tired due to the drink. My team managed to complete station 1 & 2 only. However, it was still an achievement! I had fun discussing pads and RED BULL with Ben. HaHa. We laughed like hell and the trainees were all puzzled. HaHa. Without the jokes, I'll most probably be bored to death. HaHa. Thanks! O, anyway, I had only a piece of bread with beans an a half egg for that afternoon. So, i was rather satisfied with myself. HaHaHaha!!
Back to school at around 2.45pm! On time! HaHa. Oh, my blisters were.. like shit! It was god damn painful. After plaster-ing it, I felt much better. HaHa. Anyway, Angela's team4 came back last from Kembangan. HaHa, poorthing.
Alright, they were supposed to have activation. And me being another casualty. However, it was cancelled and replaced by bunk inspection.
Wee Wee!! Preparation and then time for buffet dinner!!! I was not feeling good. Probably, because I was having the 'lost' feeling within myself. I felt alone. Angela has her team and Van has her job to do. I tried to finish all the carbohydrate food to giv my body energy. I didnt know why, but I felt weird at that time. Later, it was time for the CAMP FIRE! I observed how Yuan Zhen made the fire. The pouring of kerosene etc. I'm glab to be able to learn that!
The Camp Fire went well, with our team3 doing a 'Snow White & the 6 dogs' skit. HaHa. Quite funny having Xiao Wen as the pretty young lady. Heez. I tried to enjoy myself with Chui Yee and Zhiwei beside me. HaHa.
After that, trainers had a briefing on the Route March. Oh my god!!! U can see fear in my eyes. Ben told Ban Leong my injury. Well, I had mixed feelings at that time. I want to go!! I yearned to go!! But once again, I'm afraid of my own physical abilities. The officers were constantly reminding us that they dont want any trainers to fall-out. That means, all trainers are to complete it successfully. I want it badly. "Should I go, or should I not?" Having encouragement from Ben, Kee Leong and having continuous criticism by Kessler flashing in my mind. I went with a determination to complete, to win.

camp day 2

Hey Hey, I cant sleep. So just let me post again. Well, now its..
Day 2) Woke up at 5.15am. Slept for 1 hour. What the heck!! Eyes were damn smaller then the usual small. HaHa! Well, still quite excited for the whole camp. So washed up and went down for morning P.T. conducted by William. It was shoik!! I love the stretching and running. I have not been running for quite some time. So I was pretty enthusiastic about it.
After the P.T. had breakfast with Ben and team3. Then it was time for Situational Test!~
Our team was the 2nd team to set off. In other words, don't have to wait long for our turn.
Our team was pretty confident. They told the officer that they can make it within 21mins. Cool timing! HaHa. Well, I stood at the staircase for some time and ran with some of the cadets to observe what they are doing. Overall, they did really well. They were praised too. They manged to finish in just 16mins. Great job.
Had lunch. There were dao fu/dao gua/dao pok (sorry I cant identy them well). Anyway, I gave them all to Ben. HaHa. They are his favourite. However, I tried to digust him by squashing them infront of him. HaHa. It was funny. I hate the smell/taste of it.
After lunch. Its their theory MOI presentation. Our team had it at the Ambulance Officer bunk. Cool! HaHa. Some of the cadets really surprised Ben and me. We were happily assessing them mainly on the standard of aids and creativity. HaHa! It was really funny when Lionel drops his aid after having us giving him high points for the standard. He was lucky! HaHa! Marissa's aids were great too. She had certain cute stuffs and that draws a lot of trainers attention! It was done very fast. Because they are supposed to finish their presentation in only 5mins! HaHa. Cool! Mine was long!!
Then it was time for Endurance Test! Each platoon is to complete 1000 push-ups! Cool! At first, I was kind of shocked by the situation. I had the weird weird feeling back with me again. Its most probably cause I didnt get to do it during my camp. Some of my friends (trainers) cried and wanted to cry. HaHa. I endured. I couldnt stand myself standing there assessing them.
I hate doing nothing. In this situation, how to keep quiet? So, I shouted!!! HaHa. Encouraging people in platoon 1. Pushed them, kicked them! Letting them know how much more to go really helps to gain confidence. After all, they have all completed it. Counting out some red/green/yellow tag people.
Then its dinner time! What the hell!! Dao fu/dao gua/dao pok again?!!? Ben was happy. HaHa. I gave them to him once again. I wasnt really having good appetite. Because I feel like shitting. HaHa. Having some problem with that because my butt regconise toilet bowl. Sad case.
BOLD LIGHTNING - activation! HaHa. I acted as a casualty suffering from burns on the lower left arm and sprain on the right ankle. It sounded easy right? However, it was a nightmare to me. I had a god-damn hard time being a casualty!! The trainees simply dragged me out of the classroom (where I'm injured) and my face, shirt, shorts, legs were all brushed against the floor. My goodness. That's not the end, trainees' perspirations were dripping from their faces/necks onto my face and body!!! Due to my sprained ankle. I was supposed to hop down the stairs and hop my way to the first aid post (somewhere near the gate). This is shit! I was so exhausted, sleepy, smelly, dirty, untidy!! Cool huh? Anyway, WenMei, Kessler and Ben praised me for my performance. HaHa! Thanks!
After the activation. I excused myself and went home to bathe! Haha!!! I've got permission from the assistant camp commandant (opps) / Philip. Heez. He asked me to buy him 'kopi gao' (thick coffee). HaHa. I'm so lucky. So i dashed home having Li De opened the gate for me. Bathed and shitted really well! haHaha! Went to buy 3 cans of RED BULL, 1 green tea and 1 thick coffee. Had slight supper. After supper, I wanted to pass the 3 cans of RED BULL to Ben. I rushed down from 3rd floor to the ground floor 3times. Asking people where he is. However, I couldnt find him. A while later, Li De told me he's sleeping in the bunk. Wad the hell!!! I'm going to strangle him the next day. I've most probably wasted my effort n time wanting to give him the bulls~
Tata, continue Day 3 tomorrow! Its pretty interesting =)

camp day one

yOz yOz.. People, Im back!! Heez. Surprise?! Happy?! GrEat!!! Anyway, juz back from 23rd Senior N.C.O.s Training Course (2004). Its from 9th - 12th Dec. PhEw.. lots of things happened during the camp. How to tell u all everything?
Day 1) Admin stuffs and then its the team and platoon games. The platoon games were quite boring. Well, its not really the games that are boring. But simply the people playing it. What the heck loh. Couldnt even pour water properly and probably have more fun and enthusiasm!! They simply pissed me off. Shack.
3pm was the Initiation Ceremony rehearsal. Oh my god. I was so damn frightened!!! I'm scared that I'll faint again!!! I hate that!! I don't want to embarrass myself infront of my officers and cadets!!! "Do it once, and do it good!" was repeating in my mind. If i faint, I'm gona die. I don't want to!!!!!
7.30pm was the start of the Initiation Ceremony. People around me like Ben, Chi Ying, Alvin were kind of nervous too. Because, its our show!! Gotta show people our capabilities right. Then it was time!!! I did my part and I have no regret. We shaked and congratulated each other at the end. HaHa! I felt really great!!! No mistakes. Love the feeling man! Though its a small and simple ceremony, it matters a lot to us! That's what st john always give us, the sense of achievement and committment. yea yeah!
Everythings done. 3pm Night Sentry Duty for my team. Oh no, sleepy seh. Anyway, bathed for 20mins and chiong down for the duty. And guess what, Ben wasnt there!! He's late!!! Shit! Anyway, I talked to them and haha, was kind of awake after drinking bit of RED BULL! Had a bit of milo bought by William. Get to know some stories Ben told me. Cool~
Then, good night.
Wah, im only at Day 1.. Continue other time manx!!! 3more days to come loh =)

Alright, dress, handbag, necklace, earrings, shoe, shawl are all bought. What the hell man! This few days were busy looking and buying all these stuffs for Graduation Night. I orignally thought that it would simply be a dinner at the Intercontinental Hotel. But i was wrong! It is not going to be simple! I didnt pay a lot of attention to it until this few days. Thats why I was somehow rushing to buy shoes, jewellaries etc. Money from my "bank" is reducing and reducing. I became very worried. Well, I just dont wish to spend a large sum of money on a 3/4-hour dinner.
Hmm.. I just learnt something today. Money is 'shen bu dai lai, si bu dai qu'. Well, it means that you couldnt bring money along with you when you're dead or born. Ha Ha. Lousy translation. Anyway, it is rather meaningful and true, right? However, I still love money =) Ha Ha, cant help it! As long as I'm alive, I'll still love money.
Hey Hey, Singapore Idol Final on this Wed! HaHa, so fast man. I still remember the audition was during my Chinese O'level examination period. That's why I didnt go for it! HaHa. Awww''' Well, who do you wish to win? Hmm.. I like Slyvester, but I wish Taufik will win. Ha Ha. They are both equally good. I wouldnt be sad with the results. So.. we shall see on this Wed!
Well, I'm kind of worried that I wouldnt enjoy the Grad night man!!! Will it be fun?! I hope so. O yeah! I finished watching 'Huan Zhu Ge Ge 3'!!! HaHa.. Its quite good. Just that I didnt shed a single tear. Ha Ha. I'm becoming heartless.. Aww'''

yOz yOz! Today is such a busy and tiring day. I was jolted awake by my Mum at 9 a.m. Haha, then I vomited as I wasn't feeling very right. Rushed to school by 10.45 a.m. and waited at the school gate with Angela, Fatmah and Vanessa for Hwee Chin. HaHa, because she dyed and cut her hair. So we were all so anxious to welcome her. HaHa.
Then received the CCA Cert, testimonial, the posting form and a booklet. Well, wasn't really excited for the 3months course. Start school at 3rd of Jan 2005!! Oh man, what the heck! So early!!! Anyway, have to submit the form before Saturday. And we will be going to Ms Low's house one 2nd of Dec!~ Yeah, haha! Hope that it will turn out to be fun!
Then rushed to Bugis for my SNCO team meeting. Well, I wasn't sure of the place! haha, 3months not touching town. I was lost! I looked around and found the BK across the road. Went there and had a few things sorted out with Benjamin. Atleast, we came down with some solutions to things. Phew~ Then once again, I rushed to Lavender Concourse to meet Angela. Well, main motive was actually to see Chong Boon. wAhaha! =x Alright, not really lah.
We went to the basement and walked around the Christmas decorations. It was fabulous man! So beautiful!! It was as if we were celebrating Christmas at that time and have the urge of buying a Christmas tree. HaHa. We walked around Concourse looking for new things but found none. =)
Then we went back to Tampines for dinner. Alright, just finished email-ing the trainees some stuffs. So sleepy. Yeah! Can start watching 'huan zhu ge ge3' tomorrow! ;)

snco meeting

Just back from 23rd St John Ambulance Brigade Senior NCOs Training Camp's meeting. Sick. Sick. Sick. I'm so disappointed. What can i say? Backout?! No way! Its not the correct way of a responsible trainer. Then how?! Disappointed! Disappointed! I'm SO DISAPPOINTED! Its so disappointing!
First of all, what!!! 3 out of 15 trainees from Tampines Sec came for this meeting! I understand that there were 4 of them that went for public duty. Then how about the rest? the 8 of them? Come'on that's not what I have expected. Is it because I wasnt involved in any sjab activities for such a long time and I'm like lost contact from everyone of them? Haiz.
Next, I'm actually very happy with my post, as an assistant group advisor. However, guess what! Group advisor, which is my head, is Benjamin Tan. Sick. Sick. Sick. He's a weird, crazy fellow! What can i say?! And he is driving me mad with all his bombastic words! Although he can be really funny sometimes, he's a weirdo, sicko. Ha Ha. How bad I am to say that huh. Just diappointing not to have Chong Boon instead. I'm sad.
Then its the whole atmosphere. Maybe because there were only 3 of us as trainers from TPSS (Vanessa, Angela & Me) at the St John HeadQuarters just now. So it was hard to blend in with the rest of the officers from other schools. They were joking among themselves more. Though I have worked with them before during last year's Junior NCOs Training Camp, I just don't feel very right. Afterall, Im not close to them as much as they are close among themselves.
Alright! So I'm trying to adapt to that kind of atmosphere and situation. But before that, I hope that I can enjoy myself first since its like after Os. And of cause, get ready the graduation night stuffs! yeah! =)
