chingay 2008!

after months of practices. we have finally came to this day.

im still smiling! thats unbelievable..

familiarising the moves once more.. once more.. maybe once more..

lots of photos taken by sheares photocom are still not uploaded. well, i hope the viewers, the audiences have enjoyed our performances and appreciated all our effort. cinderella was glowing beautifully the whole night.

the guys below, in orange are js my brother, and jk. not forgetting ahbi and ian came along too. these guys are incredible.
they have showed me what sheares hall's spirit is all about. these guys had the grandstand tickets, but instead of sitting there enjoying the whole chingay, they practically chased us (ran across roads, through mrt station, brushed by bushes, rushed through the crowd..) all the way from grandstand to our final, which is the 7th station, along cityhall, to catch our performance.

im super touched by them. ive never thought that they would follow us all the way. and its not just about the running, its their PRESENCE. in sheares shirt. cheering along with us "sheares hall sheares hall sheares hall!!" among the crowd. the moment i spotted them, the feelings in me were so strong, immense, powerful, compelling!
every drop of orange were treasured and have definitely moved me. thank you guys for being
there! your support have made my contributions in chingay so much worth. =)

it was definitely more than just an eye opener. it was a night full of first time. first time performing in chingay. first time dancing in the middle of the road. first time taking so many photos in one night. first time performing infront of goh chok tong. first time standing infront of a spotlight... so much for the prelude. theres still the actual day. =)

the next day where the roses start to wilt and everything starts to fade

pretty board with sweet wishes from blkc guys!

thats joyceh's pointing. haa. anyway, thats nice. ive took it out from the board to keep.

trying to keep the roses alive, i used my shot glasses as vases to hold the roses upright.
this is the year where ive gotten the most flowers.
thanks to all my friends, the hall, and the swocs. ive smelt the roses, i appreciate all wishes and greetings.
i hope u guys didnt spend a lot.
the worse thing is still, to miss out the sentosa flowers. i hope theyre blooming well.
life would be great if i can choose what to listen, to see, and to believe.

drunk me

mundane it may seem. but grateful to have it.
cny was nevertheless, a dress-red event, where the notion of red is good while black&white is a no-no.

chu xi reunion dinner was fabulous. indulged in cups and glasses of drinks ranging from oreo iceblend to pink lady mocktail to baileys on the rock! thanks to my cousin who provided the high-class service as well. i had 7 glasses. =)

red (in the shade of pantone symbolises universal brotherhood and equality of men on our national flag) does bring along a sense of togetherness on cny. relative visitings were as usual, completed in one day. countered the usual questions, the usual expressions. and i was too as usual captivated with their pineapple tarts, which is my cny favourite! ;)
really sad not to be able to go sentosa flowers. i bet its flora were blooming aesthetically..

met up with stjohn friends. nostalgically chatted.
how nice. really nice it was.
pls stay.

sunday was a bday celebration for my aunt, cousin and me. my aunt's and my chinese bday fall on the same day as my cousin's english bday.

ahh. complicated. just know that its one week more to my birthday! haa.
and i know its better not to anticipate nor expect anything.
and well, afterwhich, im sure the anxiety will go downhill.

im not upset. im just not happy.

beep beep

build-a-bearbear is more for girls, but glad that more guys are doing it!
and im still laughing whenever i recall what my friends did!
it wasnt anything about being digusting, sissy, gu-niang, act cute etc ok.
it was more like an experience that you will probably never do it, ever again after once. (for guys)
i'll leave the details out. guys have to do it themselves to know.
sweet, lovely and quite hilarious too were the feel!
happy valentine!

master was really inconsiderate i thought.
we didnt even have a chance to explain. neither a warning first.
all we get was an early cny lecture at 1am and a red card! and probably a big angbao from us to him/hall too.
im really excited to read master's email! maybe im in his list already!
anyway, i had fun! and thats wad money cant buy!
happy new year!

im right. isnt it.

fate lies in our hands

have you ever toss a coin and hope that it can decide your fate for you?
let head to be this and tail to be that.
and in most cases, you soon to realize, coin tossing really does help you to decide.

have you ever wonder why you assign this to be head and that to be tail?
it can simply be thought to be a random action, however, theres always a reason behind.
head clearly signifies a considerably dominant role over that of the tail.
by assigning this to be head. you've chosen.

have you ever hesitate about your decision after you realized that youve gotten a tail?(technically, it usually happens when you get a tail)
apparently, you have then unconsciously exhibit your preference.

what you need is the courage to acknowledge ur choice.
so why not toss a coin today.

too many. too little.

tree living

expectations.
come with disappointment.

i dont know if its workable.
but im trying.
no matter what. i cant survive with current result.

all i want to be is to be a tree.

what's right or wrong

it felt so real. for the first time after so long. the signs were real, the feelings were real. the kisses were real. was it the right thing...
