The Cronies
albeit the routine (7am) wake today, i still have the adrenaline rush in me! (thx to the cake, or the ppl?! haa!)
nus campus tour was quitee.. monotonous. basically roaming around the campus from faculty to faculty with an empty stomach. but its still gd to know which fac has the best food!
for eg, fac of arts and ss has the best canteen (newly renovated, the only one with aircon!), engine's canteen is next! (cheap and gd indon food, western pastas, and the only canteen which sells mango juice thats not diluted!) and fac of sci has the worse canteen (where most of the students would rather migrate to arts or engine for their meals!) haa.
nus is super near to vivo! (that may not be a gd thing after year1..) bus10 takes us around 15mins. what a fantastic dinner i had with my 1e3/2e3 clique!! oh gosh. slap me. im so happy to see them happy! haa.
im really lucky to be blessed with these mates! i was really feeling nostalgic just now (and now again) haa. that's girl. always more emo. but i believe the guys were equally satisfied! =D
well, unfortunately, certain people (xia! nie! pc! wk! sel!) couldnt turn up, if not it would be reallll good! but its ok. a chalet is coming up in sept! get to meet again! hee! super nice to be close to my 6yrs frens still! love them all!
the birthday man (in-advance!) ha. super shui right! =)
after cutting the cake, we gave wc the biggest piece! (for he claimed to be really hungry still after finishing his lagazna)
see the diff. b/w my cake and wc's?! haa. anyw, opp mine is an's! haa. she deserved it man! she asked for that piece for she said tts the smallest one (in da end, its not small at all!) haahaa!
and look! he finished it!!
and was proud of it!
dining at secret recipe is a one in a lifetime thing. main course/service sux. =)

Reminiscence
finally after 7years, my passport had a new stamp! =D
my mum was forced to take the 'mao mao cong' ride with me!! for that's one of the only few rides i took at the indoor theme park.
my fav train ride when i was much younger! and its so pitiful. no one operates it anymore. well, at least it was still there. waiting for me. =)
Bao is the 'must eat' over there! though i dun eat the meat. hee.
pretty candies snacks! anyway, their donuts sux!
it was cold and pretty foggy at night.

Last week's trip to Genting Highlands was more of a sentimental one, than a leisure fun one.
went there with 3 adults. well, im considered kid. ok.
the best thing was actually the five stars coach we took. it was 7 long hrs up/dwn the hills. and it was perfectly well with those seats that have massaging purposes, and a tv screen for you to play games & watch movies!

For the whole of 3days. we went to places where we used to go 7yrs ago. such as the happy valley restaurant, 'mao mao cong' (worm) and the motion master (stimulator ride).

the day im greeted "Ms Tan"
ha! i didnt expect myself, so soon, to be greeted "Ms Tan" by classes of students! a fantastic experience that i will always keep.
got called up on monday morning to be down for relief teaching at tpss! splendid! just before my school collapse, i mean renovate, im able to be there, in the position of a teacher!
my first class. 1e4. i thought, "express class couldnt be too horrible la." but ha! apparently, i was wrong! at the end of the day, i reckoned that they were the worse class. the class that pissed me so much that i made everyone return to their seats!
ha! at that moment, i thought of my past, in 4e1. being tagged rebellious by a disgusting bloody shit relief teacher when i refused to sit down despite her staring at me and the whole class already seated! haa! i still think i did the right thing! thats for sure.
(when ever i thought of this, i will thank jianli in my heart. not that he'll read my blog, but i sincerely thank him for his righteous, courageous, braveous act that day. ive yet to find another one else like him.)
haa. ok. when the classes go "teacher this.. teacher that.. " haa! i was gleaming from within! its unfathomable! "are you married?" "whats yr pri/sec schs?" "were you from normal aca or normal tech?" "can we use our handphones?" "or mp3 please?" " can we be released earlier?" haa! are the most frequently questions coming from the students! hee! kids.
its fascinating to be colleague of my ex-teachers! be teacher of my neighbour, my cadets! ha!!
my last class was 1n1. that was their last lesson too. they were, without thinking, the noisiest class of all. but, surprisingly, was also the one that i connected with the most! their actions and behaviours are no doubt mischievious. but i just enjoyed the way they were. you know, how kids should play, laugh and enjoy, especially after their midyr exams!
haa. apparently, many funny incidents happened in the classes and i just walk pretentiously into the staff room to stop them from chasing me! ha!
its fun! funny too! =)
i missed the canteen food, my teachers, the environment, and even the toilets! ha! im gona continue to miss it, especially after the demolishment.
but life still moves on.
call me a cynic or wadever. im getting really sceptical about whatever that is going to happen.
i love fridays! and ive found passion in somethings other than stjohn.
im joyful! =D

labour break
my stjohn's logo almost OUT!! yea yea man!! hahaa. thanks to my sis ok! well, for the marvelous photoshop skills. i really wish to take up a photoshop course if there is. thanks to labour day too. we both had time at home to draft it! haha im not gona post it here! the logo's gotta be a surprise! ;)
ok. im working at cpf and ntuc. anyone wana apply for the ntuc linkcard? call me. =)
and anyone who deserves the workfare bonus but were not alloted? dont call me. =)
working experiences give me opportunities to get to know many more people. and of course, to socialise, understand and accommodate others. BUT, after all, im not a saint. so honestly i cant tolerate some conceited morons. neither do i want to crack my nerves to act like i like them.
so its either they prove me wrong. or i prove them, im worse. =)
apart from these unhappy moments, the lovely ones are great! met new colleagues that are really nice people whom i like to hang out with! somehow sometimes their selflessness had made me feel rather guilty. haa! opps.
these are just snap shots of us at dxo! it was ntuc staff night! haa. ntuc booked the whole place! and the best part was, there wasnt many people there! so, quite a quiet clubbing experience. its not nice seeing bosses drunk. ahh. im not liking disco dancing though. tts my first time.
